Sitting too much causes back problems. However, it also increases the risk of heart disease, metabolic disorders, diabetes, and even cancer. According to a study by the University of Regensburg, people who sit a lot are more likely to be diagnosed with colon, cervical, and, to a lesser extent, lung cancer.
